Another line-up of high-performance micro processors form AMD is on it way and will probably see the light in the fourth quarter of this year. In fact, several high-end six-core CPU as well as top-performing quads are going to be presented. AMD also plans to add more models to Phenom II X6 Thuban line, that are most likely be budget ones.
In order to reach the top performance level AMD is going to release Phenom II X6 1100T (3.30GHz) and Phenom II X6 1065T (2.90GHz), two of company’s fastest and highest performing Thuban-based 6-core CPUs while having TDP level at 95 Watts. Another model to be released is Phenom II X4 975 chip with 3.60GHz clock-speed — a flagship among AMD’s quad core CPUs, it is based on Deneb die and has 125W TDP. These model form company’s High-end CPU segment giving AMD a chance to take the leading place in CPU performance in general.
