AMD Radeon HD 6700 series cards for OEM only!
AMD officially reveals specification for new graphic HD 6xxx cards
AMD’s intentions to continue producing Radeon HD 5770 and Radeon HD 5750 (Juniper) graphics cards but under different naming — Radeon HD 67xx — were rumored in the past, but have never confirmed even after first HD 6000 series cards, AMD Barts Pro and Barts XT (a.k.a Radeon HD 68xx) we launched.
Nevertheless, recently, AMD has officially revealed specification for new graphic cards Radeon HD 6770 and Radeon HD 6750 marked “For OEM only”. From the pics below, we see that AMD did renamed HD 57xx cards to expand the assortment of HD 6000 line-up after all.
Obviously, the reason for renaming procedures was dictated by requests of AMD’s OEM partners. Despite the fact that main specification of the cards has been untouched, Radeon HD 6700 series cards got support for HDMI 1.4a interface. As for the rest, the number of Steam processors for HD 6750/HD 6750 is 720 and 800 respectively. Both cards are equipped with 1GB of GDDR5 video memory. The core and memory clocks are not presented since these can be different for OEM cards and set at customer request.
