Aqua Computer Airplex Modularity System — watercooling LEGO
Components of this system stand out by featuring patented modular construction, allowing not only building a radiator of the size you need but the whole WC complex including pump, reservoir and means of control.
German company Aqua Сomputer, well-known for its watercooling products, has announced new innovative Airplex Modularity System (AMS).
Components of this system stand out by featuring patented modular construction, allowing not only building a radiator of the size you need but the whole WC complex including pump, reservoir and means of control. AMS is specified to have “extreme huge cooling performance” and “very compact” size of modules. The manufacturer also underlines inner structure of the AMS products to have no aluminum or solder residues.
The basic cooling modules will be released of the following sizes:
- 1x 140mm
- 2x 140mm
- 3x 140mm (copper fins)
- 4x 140mm
- 6x 140mm
- 2x 120mm
- 3x 120mm (copper fins)
- 4x 120mm
Each modules has 21 tubes, the weight load is handled by stainless steel frame. Fins density is said to be optimal for low-speed fans or even running radiators in passive mode. Several variants of complete components are worth to pay special attention to.
One of AMS products, C-600, a continuation of legendary Aquastream XT pump, presents a complete WC complex with control features — apart from Eheim pump, this complex includes a reservoir with built-it filter, flow and temperature sensors and its very own fan speed controller. Monitoring and control is arranged via special software when connected to PC through USB 2.0 interface.
Another complete WC complex is based on Laing D5 pump and a reservoir with built-it filter.
Tight-knitted accessories will help in placing of final module arrangement inside the case conveniently:
Aqua Computer AMS basic modules and accessories are expected to shortly appear in stock at AC-shop and at company’s official distributors.
