The cards features 4 with PCI-Express 16x slots located properly to support 3-Way SLI/CrossfireX. This possible due to NVIDIA NF200 bridge that allows the board to provide different PCI-e line config: to 16x /16x graphic cards for two cards, 16x / 8x / 8x for three. NF200 chip has some limitations, so 4-Way SLI is not possible on this boards. On the other hand, the boards supports 4-Way CrossFireX easily. with

New power efficiency technologies
Important thing to note is the power efficiency of the boards that reaches 92 % and over.
This is possible because the EPU and DIGI + 16+2-phase digital VRM modules and a technology called True 2oz PCB which is similar to Gigabyte 2oz Copper PCB.

Increasing the thickness of the motherboard PCB Power layer by using 2 Ounces of Copper allows the electric current to flow with less resistance, enabling more power efficient circuits with lower power loss and less heat generated

Other motherboard’s features:

  • four DDR3 DIMM slots for dual-channel DDR3-2200 memory
  • four SATA 6 Gb/s ports, and four SATA 3 Gb/s
  • two Intel GbE controllers
  • 8+2 channel HD audio
  • two USB 3.0 ports, and even more USB 2.0 ports
  • system diagnostics card
  • Quick Gate instant-on OS
  • TurboV Processing Unit (TPU)

Availability: most likely in January 2011
