Ultra thin (17mm max) notebook series with Sandy Bridge processors is captured inside aluminum case.
Asus intends to present a whole list of novelties at Computex 2011 including new UX series notebooks. One of the lucky sources got first details on ASUS UX laptops right before its debut.
The newbies come in a metal case (aluminum), with the height ranging from 3mm to 17mm (max). Interesting is the fact that such thin notebooks weighting around 1.1 kg does not use ULV but plain mobile Intel Core processors of 2nd Generation.
Notebooks are equipped with sensor display covered in glass, enhanced lid hinges, SSD and USB 3.0 port, immediate wake-up function from standby mode.
There is no info on product price, however, it is said to appear in retail three months later after its official announcement — September 2011.
