Corsair adds AX650 and HX1050 to PSU line-up

Corsair has introduced two more power supply units: AX650 and HX1050.

AX650 PSU is specified to handle 650W and passed 80 PLUS Gold efficiency certification. This model, of Professional Series Gold, is fully modular with detachable ATX12V cables and low-profile, flat cable designs to reduce air friction.

The second model, HX1050,is rated 1050W with 80 PLUS Silver efficiency and represents Professional Series line.

Corsair HX1050 is half-modular, with fixed ATX12V cable and modular cable set that are covered into low-profile sleeving as well..

Ruben Mookerjee, VP and General Manager for Components at Corsair, said:

While dependability is an absolute requirement for world-class PC builds, power requirements do vary by system. These new models provide expert system builders with even more flexibility in choosing the right power supply for their needs.

Both products come with 7 year manufacturer warranty. Recommended prices in USA is $219 and $169 for HX1050 and AX650 respectively. New PSUs should be available in June.
