Today, Corsair’s technical support has made a statement recalling SSD of Force Series 3 line-up that was recently launched.
It is explained that 120GB Corsair SSD do not match performance specified in tech details. To solve the problem company has to release new firmware as well as make some hardware changes.
Users are strongly recommended to stop using CSSD-F120GB3-BK SSDs at once, even if no problems occurred.
Company has suspended supplies of Force Series 3 SSD with capacity of 120GB. Customers are offered to return faulty drives in exchange to working ones or money-back. All postage are done at Corsair’s expense.
The problem concerns 120GB model only and does not cover CSSD-F60GBG3-BK, CSSD-F240GBG3-BK and Force GT products.
