Aliens vs. Predator — first person Shooter, that is laid in distant future where people stand against aliens. The benchmark can evaluate the level of performance of graphics cards supporting DirectX 11 API and includes latest possibilities of 3D graphics of modern games: tessellation, advanced shadows and SSAO (screen space ambient occlusion) technology.

    • Anisotropic Filtering: 16

Colin McRae: Dirt 2

The second part of well-known race simulator Colin McRae: DiRT, where the best of auto simulators is coupled with awesomeness of modern technologies. We used built-in benchmark tool for graphic card tests.

  • Graphics settings: Ultra



And again we see that GeForce GTX 570 @950/1050 beaten by the same card with lower GPU clock but higher memory clock. GTX 570 @950/1250 confirmed the fact that memory was the bottleneck in that case.

Metro 2033

Aerial first person shooter based on Dmitriy Gluhovskoj’s bestseller. Metro 2033 is a game with actions taking place in destroyed underground of post-apocalyptic Moscow.

The game widely uses capabilities of DirectX 11 API, including physics, by mean of graphic cards. We used an integrated benchmark tool that becomes available after game update.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Benchmark, SunShafts

The last part of popular game series now supports DirectX 11. Official benchmark was used for tests. SunShafts test was chosen as the most resource-intensive.

Call of Pripyat Benchmark

Finally, a test run of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Benchmark was sensible both to memory and GPU overclocking. This is a kind of game that can’t get full up, no matter how well you feed it.
