Gigabyte expands the variety of graphics cards offered to end-users. This time we are talking about NVIDIA’s single GPU flagship — GeForce GTX 580. Based on this graphics processor, Gigabyte has launched another member of Super Overclock line-up, part number GV-N580SO-15IА, that was announced back in March at CeBIT 2011. GF110 based card, uses cooling system and non-reference PCB design including Ultra Durable VGA+ features.
So, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 580 Super Overclock delivers 1.6X purer power than traditional power design and more stable performance thanks to: 2 oz Copper PCB, Proadlizer capacitor as well as ferrite core and metal chokes and Low RDS MOSFET. All of this is well cooled by WindForce 3X cooler which uses Vapor chamber, three heat-pipes and three fans controlled via PWM.
The card comes with 1536 MB GDDR5 memory via 384-bit interface, supports DirectX 11, CUDA, PhysX, 3D Vision Surround and 3-way SLI technologies. The back of the card includes two Dual-links DVI-I and one Mini HDMI outputs. Clock rates of GeForce GTX 580 Super Overclock are as follows: 855/1710/4100 MHz for GPU/Shader/Memory respectively. The price is not revealed.
