Hercules will rescue iChill GTX 560 Ti and GTX 550 Ti cards

Inno3D is excited to announce the iChill GTX 560 Ti and GTX 550 Ti Herculez

Inno3D® is excited to announce the iChill GTX 560 Ti and GTX 550 Ti Herculez! It sports 16 scythe blades on each of its enormous fans that work actively with the Herculez Ball Bearing to keep the temperature cool under the hood.

The fan casing and blades are removable so that the cleaning process is made much easier allowing for a thorough removal of dust and grime from all parts of the fan.

The gap between the blades are covered by the 16 scythe blades, generating more flow of air than a conventional fan, even while operating under low speed conditions.

The semi-frameless design of Herculez allows for improved air intake from the side while also drawing in air from the front.

The Herculez is made up of a large heatsink with several large heatpipes protruding from the side. The reflective cores indicate a well lapped heatsink as the flat and smooth surface provides better surface area for heat dissipation. Looking at t he underside you get a good look at the large heatsink fins which are quite dense and have been designed around the shroud as they fit it very nicely.

Heatpipes are an efficient way of moving heat from one area to another and are usually used to connect the high density block of the cooler with the large surface area fins.
