HWBot.org revision four is on
One of the main innovations is overclockers are now divided in to leagues of professionals, enthusiasts, extreme and “hardware masters”
Throughout last few months, members of HWBot.org forum were actively disguising the fourth revision of web-site. Users gained access to public server in the beginning of May in order to check database for functionality and bugs. Finally, the end of May was marked as official launch of fourth revision web-site.
One of the main innovations is that overclockers are now divided in to leagues of professionals, enthusiasts, extreme and “hardware masters”. This, according to developers, should increase competitiveness inside enthusiasts and extreme leagues providing more possibilities to overclockers that have no vendor supports or not using extreme cooling systems. At first, the league of professional featured 22 members, however, now the number has grown to 37. And only the first fifteen of that list get rating points.
Team rating algorithm has changed too. Big impact here has WR holders and leaders of hardware categories. Therefore, international Team OCX, that includes two best hardware masters: TaPaKaH and Turrican, takes first place by a large margin. The second place goes to Team Pure featuring all-star: NickShih, Deanzo, k|ngp|n.
