Jetway shows AMD 990X motherboard

4+1 phase circuit, two PCI Express x16 slots ( x8+x8), six SATA 3 ports, two USB 3.0 ports and many more

Motherboards manufacturer are actively working on its latest products for AMD Zambezi processors that should debut in couple of weeks. So does Jetway. Chinese media source has leaked a photo with some tech details of the motherboard based on AMD 990X/SB950 chipsets.

CPU power system uses 4+1 phase circuit which is enough for feeding Zambezi processors but not for overclocking them. Though, other specs does not indicate the board is actual targeted at overclocking. Note that processor power stabilizer is located above the socket instead of its typical location between the socket and I/O connectors. Interesting is that both chipsets are placed very close to each other — you don’t see such a solution very often.

The board comes with two PCI Express x16 slots. In case of dual-card setups, the slots operate at x8 mode. Other expansion slots include two PCI Express x1, one PCI slot, six SATA 3 ports. The I/O panel of the board features six USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, PS/2 ports and Gigabit Ethernet adapter, six 3.5 mm audio inputs/outputs and one S/PDIF output.

Price and launch date are kept secret. Perhaps, it can updated during Computex 2011 exhibition.
