Koolance company, famous for its water-cooling component production, has introduced a new series of reservoirs. The main difference with current one is body diameter — 80 mm. The line-up consists not only of 80mm compatible top and base parts that also included adapters to support current 60mm reservoir bodies and pump tops. Lets go into some details of these parts.
First its the main part — reservoir body. Five different height reservoir bodies are made form transparent acrylic and can have several accessories attached.
One of them is base. It is made from black acetal and has two in/out ports with G1/4 threads and nickel-plated brass socket plugs to cover them. The base also come with a removable acrylic partition that splits the flow inside the reservoir in case it is used for inline or parallel loops. The O-ring is included.
Next is the top. Also made of black acetal with one G1/4 threaded port which is recommended to use as a fill port. Nonetheless, it can be use as an input port too. The top comes with the same nickel-plated brass socket plug , a hex mounting nut and insulating washer.
Black acetal reservoir coupler has male coupling thread with two nozzle sockets of G1/4 BSB threads. It is installed between the base and the body in order to have multiple water-cooling loops. Comes with two EPDM O-rings.
This 80mm to 60mm adapter made to get use of 60mm reservoir accessories and pump tops or combine two bodies of different diameter. Also comes with two EPDM O-rings
The last 80mm to 80mm acetal reservoir ring adapter is used for connecting 80mm bodies to one another. Comes with two EPDM O-rings.
The prices of all parts are quite reasonable allowing you to make up a simple 120mm high reservoir (of 3 main parts) for a price of about $50 USD. All other accessories will add to the final sum about $10 USD each.
