Mozilla finalizes Firefox 5 ahead of time

Mozilla has shown first groundwork for Firefox 5 (FF5) interface in the beginning of this year. Later, in May, first beta version was available to download, and today the company has published final release of FF5 ahead of time, though it was planned to be launched on 21st of June. Note, that final version of Firefox 4 was presented back in March. Mozilla decided to change browser update policy and speed up major releases of Firefox, in fact, the company intends to introduce Firexfox 7 till the end of 2011.
Regarding today’s release of FF5, after installation and first start, the information page says you are using Beta-version of the browser, however, the “About” page says version 5.0 without Beta prefix. New browser features support for CSS-animation, enhanced HTML5 support, memory usage optimization and bug fixes.
Other than that, performance for background tabs has been improved, Linux integration and WebGL support got better as well as spelling check was worked further.
