MSI 990FXA-GD80 details leaked
Several photos and specs reveal details of future MSI flagship motherboard with Socket AM3+
The fuzz around AMD’s latest and newest platform growth bigger each day. Follow by specs and photos of ASUS TUF Sabertooth 990FX motherboard, another board details has leaked on internet. We are talking about MSI 990FXA-GD80.
The background for MSI flagship with Socket AM3+ includes AMD 990FX/SB950 chipset tandem, the list of supported processors include AMD FX series, Phenom II series and Sempron family.
The processor is powered via 10 phase circuit using Driver Mosfet chips.
Four DIMM slots support installation of up-to 32GB of DDR3-2133 memory.
Graphgics cards can be installed in to four PCIe x16 slots with two PCIe x1 and one PCI expansion slots available.
Integrated 8-channel audio codec supports THX Studio Pro format.
Disk and storage drives can be connected to six SATA 3 ports. Two Power SATA ports are located on the back panel.
In addition, MSI 990FXA-GD80 is equipped with one network adapter, four USB 3.0 and eght USB 2.0 ports.
