Nvidia GeForce GTX 580M detailed

The world’s faster mobile graphics solution made my NVIDIA, GeForce GTX 580M, has been revealed just before the release date. Although NVIDIA did not make any official statements, the high-end notebook graphics card is said to be launched on 22nd of June. Meantime, Santech, Italian custom notebook manufacturer, has already added the novelty to customization options for N67 laptop, which also strengthens the assurance of close release date of GTX 580M.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M should replace GTX 485 model. Technical details of the novelty include 384 Cuda Cores, 256-bit memory bus, 2GB of GDDR5 RAM, 64 TMUs and 32 ROPS. Based on GF104, GTX 580M is expected to have TDP of 100W. Performance wise, the card can be compared to Desktop GeForce GTX 560 Ti card as both have very similar specification. Price wise, GeForce GTX 580M is expected to be available for around 590 Euro.
