NVIDIA Tesla M2090 — the fastest parallel processor
The fastest parallel computing processor sees the light
Today NVIDIA Corp. has presented the fastest parallel computing processor in the World Tesla M2090 GPU.
This Fermi architecture processor has 512 CUDA cores and 6GB of memory capable of showing 665 GigaFLOPS of peak performance on double precision operation. For single precision the number can grow to 1331 GigaFLOPS.
Professional Telsa solutions support protection of ECC memory and L1|L2 cache. Tesla is mainly used in high performance servers and workstations for scientific computations such as processing seismic activity data, modeling in Biochemistry, weather and climate modeling, signal processing, financial calculations, CAE, CFD and data analysis.
