Powercollor readies 2GB variant of Radeon HD 6870
Custom design graphic card will have six output Display connectors to provide humongous screen resolution
According to latest news, Powercolor will soon unleash a modified version of Radeon HD 6870 graphic card with double amount of on-board memory and six output Display connectors. With this card in your hands and using AMD Eyefinity technology you can set resolution up-to twelve times bigger that 1080p standard can provide.
The card uses custom cooling design featuring three heatpipes. GPU specs include 1120 Stream Processors and supports 2 GB of GDDR5 memory through 256-bit bus. At the moment, clocks are yet to be determined The card is expected to appear at CeBIT 2011 exhibition in the beginning of March.
