Modern high-end computers often have lots of fans installed. By adjusting its speed, you can find a balance between performance and noise level. On of the way to individually control each fan is using multi-channel fan controller. New models of such devices have been recently presented by Japanese company Scythe:
Scythe Kaze Q8 is designed for 3.5 inch bay. It delivers manual fan speed control via eight individual channels. If that is not enough, take a look at Kaze Q12 model.
As might guessed, it provides twelve control channels and fits 5.25 inch bay. Both models have same control features — voltage change from 5 to 12 volts. Max current laod per channel — 1A. It is also possible to turn off power for each channel individually. Active channels are marked with blue leds.
Prices for Kaze Q8 and Kaze Q12 are 16,75 and 23,95 Eu, respectively. Controllers are available with black or silver faceplate.
