Thermolab releases high-end CPU cooler TRINITY

Thermolab TRINITY uses asymmetrical structure of the heatsink that is designed for superior cooling performance while maintaining minimal interference with the PSU

Thermolab, Korean company specializing in production of cooling solutions company has announced its latest CPU cooler TRINITY. Thermolab TRINITY uses asymmetrical structure of the heatsink that is designed for superior cooling performance while maintaining minimal interference with the PSU.

This tower design cooler featuring 4 heat pipes and 130mm fan was the result of thermal analysis to reach superior cooling performance. The height of the entire cooler is 180mm while the heat think is150mm wide which gives it an excellent compatibility with majority of PC cases. The cooler can handle maximum of 220 watt which enough for most of today’s CPUs generating up-to 150-210 watt of heat. This beast has cooling performance even for overlooked processors, for example, Sandy Bridge (TDP 95w). And if you are worried about CPU power components located around the socket, it is not a problem for TRINITY too. The fan size out stands the the heat-sink size to provide enough airflow to cool CPU power VRM for good.

Speaking about the fan, it is made by ADDA, impeller has 9 blades and it can be controller via PWM. The speed range of the fan is 600 ~ 1800RPM ± 10%. To avoid any additional noises, caused by vibration of the fan when it is roughly fixed to the heatsink as in most models, the fan is now mounted onto silicon components. For even less noise, you can use and SC3 cable with a build-in resistor, that comes with the cooler, to reduces the max fan speed down to 1200RPM ± 10%. The backplate as well as thermal grease are included too.

As for socket compatibility, the manufacturer mentions LGA 1155 and LGA 1156 only (edit: updated, see specs below!). But you can always check for motherboard compatibility list here. So far it has been tested on P67/H67 motherboards. But the list will be updates as soon as new data arrives. By that time comes, check out this video installation guide:
