The last part of popular game series now supports DirectX 11.Official benchmarkwas used for tests. SunShafts test was chosen as the most resource-intensive.

    • Preset: Ultra
    • Renderer: Enhanced Full Dynamic Lighting (DX11)
    • SSAO Mode: HBAO
    • SSAO Quality: High
    • DX 10.1: On
    • Tessellation: On
    • Contact Handening Shadows: On
    • In Anti Aliasing mode: MSAA for A-tested objects: DX10.1 Style [Higher Quality]

All cards showed quite high performance level for game running without Anti Aliasing features up-to screen resolution of 1920×1020. No one card could run this game at resolution of 2560×1440 and enabled Anti Aliasing smoothly.

Radeon HD 6950 2GB with default specs is left behind its modified variants by 15-17%. Overclocked and unlocked Radeon HD 6950 2GB cards at same clocks showed 4.5-5.5% performance difference.

I picked up a Saphhire HD 6950 today. The one with dual fans and dual bios.
I was happy when I switched to the secondary bios and found the shaders unlocked. No flash necessary.
