Zalman upgrades VF3000F graphic card cooler

South Korean company, Zalman, prepares to launch a revised version of its high-end VGA cooler — VF3000F that debuted in September 2010. The main innovation that new revision brings is full support for NVIDIA’s top performance graphics accelerators GeForce GTX 580 and GeForce GTX 570 (both based on 40nm GF110 GPU).


This has resulted in minor design changes, while the overall look and functionality of the cooler remains the same. For example, cooler dimensions are 239 x 98 x 51 mm while its weights 430 gram. The main heatsink consists of copper base connected via five 6mm copper heat-pipes to a massive radiators cooled by two 92 mm fans with EBR type bearings and green led lights.


Fan speed ranges from 1400 to 3000 RPM generating max noise level of 33 dBA (+/-15%). Revised Zalman VF3000F cooler comes with ZM-STG2 thermalpaste. Price wise, no changes here, same 40-45 EU.
